Château de Saint Loup
Lisa and Alex were married on a super hot day at the Chateau de Saint Loup. It’s a gorgeous chateau in the southern Loire Valley in France. The grounds are vast so the videographer and I commandeered two bikes to maximise our time shooting and to minimise the amount of time spent getting about. I wish that I had a photograph of it as travelling at speed on a bike with two cameras and a bag is no easy feat!
Lisa and Alex are the loveliest of couples. Their family and friends are equally wonderful. At the end of the evening they surprised the couple with a video compilation to watch which was just so special!
Alex is half French and almost all of his family live in France. I think that my favourite moment of all was when the father of the bride stood up to do his speech and stunned everyone by speaking entirely in French. He’d secretly (without telling anyone), been having french lessons since the couple began to plan their day. It was a wonderful moment!
